Absolutely made our day, wonderfully versatile, sounded amazing ( Our first dance was an odd request Tonight Tonight from Smashing Pumpkins) Backbeat played it live and flawlessly. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough! They blew us away. Everyone is still commenting on them almost 6 months later!! One of the Best decisions we made.

We found the band professional from beginning to end. They arrived at our hotel and set up quickly and with minimum fuss. The kept a dialogue with us as to how the night would run. The dancefloor was overflowing all night including when the dj was on. Everyone commented how good they were and we even had guests with upcoming weddings looking to book them . We just wanted to send you a message to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did on our wedding day. You and the lads are without doubt some of the most talented, friendliest, loveliest people there are. Both Jason and myself will be forever grateful to have had you as our wedding band. We couldn’t believe that you would play through your break in order to give us as much music as possible. Ye really went above and beyond what we would have expected. You are professional through and through but the way in which you all conduct yourselves is admirable. I’m so sorry I did’t get a chance to talk to you a little more throughout the night – it seemed to last all of 5 minutes! I would love to go back and relive it again. I wish you all the best for the future and I hope that many many more lucky couples get the chance to experience the magic that you bring to such a special day. Bumblebee Honey played at our wedding in the MC WILLIAM Hotel last May and they were absolutely fabulous. They played all the required music for our aunties and uncles but then blew us away with a 90’s set at the end of the night. All I can say is that I have never heard Maniac 2000 like that before. All our guests were dancing all night and the raved about the band.
We knew they were going to be great as we had seen them at 6 weddings already but we just had to have them ourselves and there is always a surprise with them. We thought we say it all until they did ” nobody puts baby in the corner”. I am still laughing thinking about it. Fab band and great craic. Will was always there to help on the build up. I had the great fortune to have these guys play at my wedding last week and felt I should let everyone know how great they were. Brendan was brilliant to deal with throughout the whole experience and really understood what type of wedding party I wanted and the age groups to be catered for. On the day they arrived and set up promptly with no fuss and once they played the first dance song the floor never emptied the whole night. They were exceptional and went from song to song so smoothly that it was just like being at your own personal gig. The songs were just spot on and the instruments were just brilliant. Also just to note, if like me, you were tempted to get the 5 piece instead of the 6 piece due to costs and budgets don’t do it. I had the full 6 piece and the trumpet was a game changer with the songs played so its a false economy to do without him. We had the best night ever and the band played a big part in the success of the wedding. A big thanks to Brendan and the lads they were true professionals and I cannot recommend them enough.

Just want to say to a massive thank you to this incredible band. Had them recently at our wedding and the put in a brilliant performance. Were so accomodating leading up to the wedding as we had Irish dancers. Lead singer also helped and offered me advice with an issue I was having with a sparkly dance floor. They put on a great show that night and very interactive with us and the guests. Cannot recommand ye enough!!

I seen this band at a wedding last month And they were fantastic. Different to your normal cheesy style band. After they finished I went up to chat to them and then realised that the singer is the singer from hit band Picture house. Highly recommend them

We recently had Backbeat for our wedding in May!! They were fantastic – created great party atmosphere & the dancefloor was full for the night!! Really great mix of music and they made sure something was included for everyone!! Lovely to deal with and John who was our main contact was equally as chilled as us, he also did a super job as DJ & even played requested German songs!! A Few Good Men played at our wedding on June 8th 2018. I must say, they exceeded every expectation. They have been a pleasure to deal with since Day 1, and offered a lot of assistance and advice. On the day of the wedding, they were setup so quickly, and produced a fantastic performance. I spoke with a couple of band members while setting up, and they were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Once they started playing, the dance floor never emptied. So many people commented on how good the music was, and I even had a few people approach me, to let me know that they never dance at wedding, but they did that night. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They also did our DJ set, and it was fantastic. The whole show from lighting to sound was perfect. Thank you all so much for making our day so much better
