“The Moogs” Reviews

Hi Guys
Just wanted to drop you a quick mail to say thank you so very, very much for last night. The performance was just phenomenal! Everybody was rocking all night. The set list was great, something for everyone to enjoy. And when you guys said the transition to The DJ would be seamless, it truly was. Bob was fantastic.
At breakfast, everybody, and I include the hotel staff in this were asking where we found you, cos they had never heard a band as good, as professional, and with a singer who could cover everything.  General consensus was that you guys made the night. And you most certainly did.
Apologies for this being slightly rambling, but I just can’t emphasise enough how good it was. So again, thank you so very much for making myself and Grainnes wedding truly epic.
Regards,
Stephen and Gráinne

I’m sorry it has taken me so long to write to you but the weeks since our wedding seem to have passed by so quickly.

I wanted to write to thank you and the band for your incredible performance at our wedding. The music was brilliant and I think it was obvious that everyone thought so too, judging from the numbers that were up dancing. From the very first song, the dance floor was packed and that was so nice for us to see as this was something that we had worried about before the wedding day.

Since our wedding, we have had so many people say to us how brilliant the band were and the great thing is that they range in age from 30 up to 60+! Looking at some of the photos taken, it’s incredible to see photos of relatives dancing whom we never thought would take to the floor.

Thank you so much again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.

Warm regards

Jill Hughes

The Dionnes Reviews

Niamh & Aengus: Castle Durrow July 31st 2014

“We loved The Dionnes! They were a real highlight at our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night. The girls’ voices, the brass section, dj and the costume change blew everyone away. Could not recommend this band highly enough. And Fiona was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks again, Niamh Take Care and good luck promoting the band.”

Aoife & Shane: Rosedale House Wedding 19th July 2014

When it came to booking a band for our wedding we wanted a great sounding, tight group who would get everyone up dancing. In The Dionnes what we got totally exceeded our expectations. From the outset dealing with the band was a pleasure, with Fiona really wanting to find out more about us, our wedding and the music we love. Fiona was always on the end of the phone for any query and was such a support when we ran into a few small issues with our venue. If what you’re looking for is an amazing sound, incredible singers and a very professional setup, book The Dionnes now!”

Ado and Claire Bret: Lisnavagh House Sat 7th June 2014.

‘A huge thanks from Claire and Ado to you all. From start to finish your amazing 9 piece Soul band played an up tempo set that kept everyone dancing all night long and wanting you to stay all night! You played a wide variety of Soul classics that were up there with the originals. Your brass section really added depth to the sound. Top marks all round! Hope to see you all again soon… Thanks a million’. Ado Bret

BumbleBee Honey

Bumblebee Honey Testimonials

We booked Bumblebee Honey for our wedding on September 26th 2008. Right the way to the run up to the wedding the lads made themselves easily accessible and we had no issues with being able to contact them.

They took our preferred songs on board ie/ July by Mundy and we were delighted that they were able to perform it and furthermore even more delighted that this song has now become part of their play list and seems to be going down a treat at subsequent weddings.
 The guys were absolutely fantastic.

Their range of music made sure that everyone of all ages was more than well catered for. They performed with great energy and added a real entertainment value to the day. Will was able to unplug his guitar and roam through the crowd, while playing at the same time. It was a very interactive performance.

The guys even added an extra surprise for Myself & my brother who was my best man and they had a Dance Off between us. We were given sunglasses and wrapped ties around our head and the crowd gathered round in a circle and cheered like mad. We also had a dance group called Celtic Rhythm come dance for us and Will facilitated them with leads and amps for them to perform without any hesitation.

To sum it up, the guys were one of the main factors that made the day so memorable. We only wish we could get married every week and have them play. People were asking us about them and complimenting the music for weeks after, which is testiment to them. Never mind Alexandra Burke or Leona Lewis………these guys have the real X Faxtor.
All the best for the future lads and we hope our paths will cross again and Thanks for everything that made our day so special.

Warmest Regards

John & Jacinta Woods

Hi Will,

Lorraine & Paul here, thank you so much for a fantastic nights entertainment your band provided at our wedding. The floor was full all night, the music was brilliant, everyone is talking about your band, the music was very lively. Everyone really enjoyed it, you made our day so special.

Thank you very much.

Thanks again

Lorraine & Paul Rooney

Hi Will,

Just dropping an email to say thank you so much for making our wedding day complete and you were fantastic throughout. The church music was excellent and many people commented on your vocals.

The band was brilliant and you had everybody dancing all night long, as you probably saw. Very up to date music and very like the bands you played. As was the DJ.

Everybody was going on about how good you were so thanks again and I will be sure to recommend you to others, as I am sure everybody else will.

Take care.

Taryn

Hi Guys,

I have meant to send this email several times. Just wanted to thank you for a great day. Everyone had a brilliant day and that was a lot to do with the entertainment. Everyone loved the music and the floor was never empty which is very unusual for a wedding.
I have been at quiet a few this year and never seen the floor as full.

You all where very helpful and friendly, especially Will.

Thanks for making our day brilliant!
